Following Christopher & Lee Ong’s (CLO) recent collaboration with Institut Jantung Negara Malaysia, the firm organised a month-long internal collection drive for Lovely Nursing Centre (“LNC”), a home for homeless and neglected senior citizens in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Members of the firm showed great support for the initiative during the course of the month through their contribution for the LNC collection drive.
During lunch with the staff members of LNC, our CSR Committee were informed that residents were referred to LNC by hospitals or the police force and that many had a history of abuse. It was comforting to learn however, that residents generally do recover their health at LNC.
We were once again reminded of the importance of the work done by organisations such as LNC and the need to support them. As such, our heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone who contributed to and supported the collection drive for LNC.
