Connecting new wind farm to the Philippines’ Luzon Power Grid

C&G Law is representing Island Wind Energy Corporation (“IWEC”) in proceedings before the Energy Regulatory Commission ERC for authority to develop and own or operate dedicated point-to-point limited transmission facilities to connect its new wind farm to the Philippines’ Luzon Power Grid.

Obtaining approval will allow IWEC to connect its new wind farm to the Luzon Grid. The construction and connection of the wind farm to the Luzon Grid will promote the use of renewable energy (wind) and help alleviate possible power shortages in the future.

The matter is led by Partner, Sophia P. Inoturan.
