C&G Law is representing the client in proceedings before the Energy Regulatory Commission for authority to develop and own or operate dedicated point-to-point limited transmission facilities to connect the Currimao 2 Solar Power Plant Project (“C2SPPP”), a 68MWac solar plant, to the Philippines’ Luzon Power Grid.
Obtaining approval will allow NSEC to connect to the Luzon Grid the C2SPPP, a solar plant included as one of the Indicative Power Plants in the Private Sector Initiated Power Projects in the Philippines’ Transmission Development Plan for 2022 – 2040. The C2SPPP is also included in the Department of Energy’s 2021 Private Sector Initiated Power Projects in Luzon. The construction and connection of the C2SPPP to the Luzon Grid will promote the use of renewable energy (solar) and help alleviate possible power shortages in the future.
The matter is lead by Partner, Sophia P. Inoturan; supported by Cecille Mangaser (Associate).
