First high-speed railway in Indonesia and connects Jakarta and Bandung

Assegaf Hamzah & Partners is assisting PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China in the first high-speed railway in Indonesia that connects Jakarta and Bandung.

Jakarta-Bandung HSR is the first high-speed railway in Indonesia and Southeast Asia developed by PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC), with a track length of 142.3 km with a maximum train speed of 350km/hour. Travel between these two central hubs will only take 40 minutes with this high-speed railway, while currently, it takes around 3 hours. The project of high-speed railways Jakarta – Bandung is included as national strategic project determined by presidential regulation.

The project is led by Partners Ibrahim Sjarief Assegaf (Banking, Finance & Projects), Kanya Satwika (Banking, Finance & Projects), Harun W Ngantung (Banking, Finance & Projects), Yogi S Marsono (Real Estate), Zacky Zaenal Husein (Technology, Media & Telecommunication) and Simon B Sasmoyo (Dispute Resolution).
