R&T Sok &Heng is acting for Mengly J. Quach Education Plc. (“MJQE”) in its initial public offering (IPO) and official listing on the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX). The deal was completed on 28 June 2023 and is one of the only two IPOs in Cambodia in 2023, and the first private education company on Cambodia’s bourse. The deal was completed within six months.
MJQE managed to raise about US$5.1million, considered “highly successful in light of the current state of the globe, which is rife with uncertainty and problems” as noted by the CSX CEO.
The deal led by Partner Tiv Sophonnora and Associate, Rethda Navinth with the support of other members.
