Assegaf Hamzah & Partners acted as an Indonesian counsel to Masdar Indonesia Solar Holdings Rsc Limited (“Masdar”) and Indonesia Investment Authority’s (“INA”) as strategic investors in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of PGE, a state-owned geothermal producer in Indonesia. The investments by INA and Masdar are US$120 million and US$360 million, respectively. This transaction marks the first equity investment by Masdar, a UAE government owned company, in an Indonesian public company.
The project is led by Partners Kanya Satwika (Banking, Finance & Projects) and Intan Paramita (Capital Markets).
