Rajah & Tann Myanmar acted for Myanma Apex Bank (“MAB”) in their strategic partnership with True Money to undertake mobile financial services in Myanmar. As part of the strategic partnership, MAB will support True Money’s customers in domestic remittance and other payment services, including e-wallet functionalities. The partnership allows for comprehensive financial services to be provided to Myanmar’s unbanked population and promotes financial inclusivity within the fintech space in Myanmar.
We supported MAB in the drafting, negotiating and finalising the strategic partnership agreement.
